What we collect. Our business is the analysis of customer problems, not collection of any critical personally identifiable information. While we do ask for your name, purchase, and payment method information, that information is forwarded directly to your seller for their purposes in satisfying your problem. We do not retain any of that information for any reason. Further, we do NOT:
· Request any credit card, payment processing, or payment account information;
· Request any age, sex, marital status, or lifestyle information; or
· Place any cookies on your computer to track your web viewing, surfing, or purchasing habits.
The only data that RMA Request.com retains is information that is non-personally identifiable and that pertains to the characteristics of the problem you are having. For example, this would include whether or not the order was a "misship" (sent the wrong item), the item was damaged in shipping, etc. This helps the vendor identify trends such as item being stocked in the wrong place, or maybe that their shipper is having problems shipping to your area.
What we do with the information we collect.We aggregate (collect) all characteristics of the orders that have had Return Merchandise Requests (RMAs) placed, and summarize it for your seller in a weekly report. The report does not contain any personally identifiable information about any particular order.
We do not sell or share this information with anyone (other than your seller). Our services are completely confidential, and the statistical information we collect is shared only with your seller. Because our services are confidential and serve only to help improve the operational performance of the individual sellers that contract with us, information about sellers we serve is not shared among them.
